摘要 <p>A polymeric pipe comprises a polyolefin structural polymer and a photoinitiator wherein the photointiator is a benzophenone derivative of the formula I: Wherein R1 is selected from C4-C24 alkyl, -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m alkenyl), -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m alkynyl), -C4-C24 haloalkyl, -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m) haloalkenyl), -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m haloalynyl), -(CH2)n[O(CH2)p]q(CH2)rR4; R2 is H or OR3; R3 is C4-C24 alkyl, -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m alkenyl), -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m alkynyl), -C4-C24 haloalkyl, -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m haloalkenyl), -(CH2)m(C2-C24-m haloalkynyl), -(CH2)n[O(CH2)p]q(CH2)rR5; R4 and R5 are independently H or -R6; R6 is H, -C1-C18 alkyl, -(CH2)s(C2-C18-s alkenyl), -(CH2)s(C2-C18-s alkynyl); m is 2-22, n is 1-12, P is 2-5, q is 2-10, r is 0-2, s is 2-16 and where when R2 is H, R1 contains 7 carbon atoms. A method of forming the pipe comprises extruding the components above and irradiating with UV to cross-link the polyolefin and thereby form the pipe.</p>
