The present invention relates to an AMTEC (Alkali Metal Thermal to Electric Convertor) apparatus having an integrated inner structure, more particularly, to an AMTEC apparatus in which a condensation part wick, a circulation wick and a vaporization part wick constituting an inside of the AMTEC are integrally configured, the integrated configurations can be implemented in various forms, a metal fluid vapor is generated by heating a metal fluid using a latent heat of a working fluid of a heat pipe instead of using heat conduction when the metal fluid is heated by a heat source, the generated vapor comes out of an inside of a vaporization part through a groove and flows to a beta alumina solid electrolyte, the vapor, which does not pass through the beta alumina solid electrolyte, flows downward in such a manner that a condensed liquid is heated again through a reheating plate or a reheating capillary artery wick, which is installed at a lower part to make contact with the heat pipe, to generate a vapor, and when using the heat pipe instead of the heat conduction for heating the metal fluid, since the vapor of the metal fluid, which does not pass through the beta alumina solid electrolyte, flows downward and becomes condensed and requires reheating, the reheating plate or the reheating capillary artery wick is provided on a lower part of a cell to make contact with the heat pipe and reheated for an efficient heating of the AMTEC apparatus and an easy circulation of the metal fluid, The condensed liquid of the metal fluid condensed in the condensation part wick secures continuity of a capillary force and connection by making an end of the circulation wick, which connects the condensation part wick and the vaporization part wick, inclined, and allows the use of the capillary force of the vaporization part wick for the circulation of the metal fluid. |
