The present invention relates to a technique for improving outside visibility of a displaying device. A device for displaying power consumption reduction comprises a signal control unit for calculating the chroma data and brightness data of an input image and power consumption, computing a compensation rate by considering a brightness change rate, a chroma change rate, and power consumption, generating compensated image data in which chroma of at least one color among red color, green color, and blue color of the input image data is increased to a preset critical value such that the compensation rate exceeds a preset reference value, and transmitting the compensated image data to a data driving unit; and the data driving unit applying a data voltage corresponding to the compensated image data transmitted from a chroma adjusting unit on a display panel by responding to gate signals successively transmitted from a gate driving unit.
