The present invention relates to a laundry treatment apparatus which comprises a main body which has a laundry input hole; a door which opens and closes the laundry input hole; and a locking device which is placed in the main body in order to lock the door when the door closes the laundry input hole. The locking device comprises a housing where an advance and retreat hole is formed; and an advance and retreat member which is supported inside the housing, can move between a locking position and an unlocking position, and restrains the door at the locking position by a moving end that is supported by the advance and retreat hole. When the advance and retreat member moves to the locking position during cutting of the moving end, the cutting unit causes interference in the advance and retreat hole area in order to prevent the movement to the locking position. |
