The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method of decelerating a golf cart at a cornering under an automatic driving mode. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus of decelerating a golf cart at a cornering under an automatic driving mode to prevent deviation and the stampede of passengers by decelerating the velocity of a golf cart when the golf cart enters a comer, and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the velocity of a golf cart is decelerated when a golf cart enters a corner, thereby preventing a sudden stop due to the deviation of the golf cart and the stampede of passengers due to inertia at a sudden corner.
