A transparent dielectric containing tantalum oxide and a manufacture method thereof are provided to secure high visible light transmission rate and low glass-transition temperature as well as proper dielectric constant without the use of lead and bismuth. A method for manufacturing transparent dielectric containing tantalum oxide comprises the following steps of: mixing 5-35wt% of tantalum oxide powder(Ta2O5), 5-30wt% of zinc oxide powder(ZnO), 15-50wt% of boron oxide powder(B2O3), 3-15wt% of silicon oxide powder(SiO2) and 5-30wt% of sodium oxide powder(Na2O); heat-treating and fusing the mixed powder in order to induce a chemical reaction; and cooling the fused material and making the material powder. The fusing step is performed at a temperature range of 800-1500°C through 1-10 hours. |
