摘要 The present invention relates to a pH indicator in a strongly alkaline region using silver nanoparticles and a method for manufacturing the same and, more specifically, to a pH indicator which can accurately indicate pH in a strongly alkaline region of pH 11 or more by using cheap silver nanoparticles instead of gold nanoparticles, and can be used in various field by being manufactured in a liquid or solid phase, and to a method for manufacturing the same. The pH indicator in a strongly alkaline region using silver nanoparticles contains silver nanoparticles reduced in an aqueous solution of silver nitrate and can measure pH in a strongly alkaline region of pH 11 or more. And, the silver nanoparticles are reduced by citrate or sodium borohydride.
