The machine (1) has a motorized unwinding unit with a flange (12), a motorized driving cylinder (13) and a pressure roller (14) for unwinding a metal-coated ribbon (7). The ribbon from the unit successively passes in a ribbon suction box (18) along a braking surface (19A) and with respect to a flat extrusion mandril (6), so that stock pile of the ribbon is available in the box between the unwinding unit and the surface and the ribbon is held with respect to the mandril between the surface and a rewinding unit constituted of a pressure roller (15), a driving cylinder (16) and a flange (17). |
