The present invention relates to a drying apparatus including a drying chamber enclosed by a wall to receive an object to be dried; a mixer, rotatably provided in the drying chamber, for mixing the object to be dried; a heating space installed to enclose the outer surface of a lower portion of the drying chamber and heated by a combustion unit to heat the lower portion of the drying chamber; at least one combustion unit installed in the heating space to apply radiant heat to the heating space and pyrolyzing organic matters generated from the drying chamber; a condenser to which steam containing the organic matters generated from the drying chamber is fed and which cools the steam to make condensed water; and a blower for generating an air pressure difference to feed the steam containing the organic matters of the drying chamber to the condenser, and feed the steam and the organic matters which are not condensed by the condenser to the combustion unit. Since the combustion unit has the function of heating the object to be dried to generate the steam, and the function of pyrolyzing the organic matters contained in the steam, the energy efficiency is high, and generation of bad smell and pollutants is suppressed. |
