A bicycle transmission comprises: a hollow type connecting shaft which is combined with a hub side unit where bicycle wheels are combined; a sprocket supporting unit which is combined with the connecting shaft and where multiple sprockets are supported by the outer side thereof; a latch unit which is installed between the connecting shaft and the sprocket supporting unit in order to restrain free rotation of the sprocket supporting unit to the connecting shaft in one direction, and to allow free rotation of the sprocket supporting unit to the connecting shaft in the other direction; and a latch control unit which selectively controls the latch unit, and allows the free rotation of the sprocket supporting unit to the connecting shaft even in the one direction so that a gear can be shifted when a pedal reversely rotates. The latch control unit comprises: a latch interference member which is connected to the connecting shaft in order to have a relative rotation interval to the connecting shaft, and selectively interferes the latch unit according to a relative rotation position with the connecting shaft so that the sprocket supporting unit can rotate relatively to the connecting shaft; a braking power providing unit which selectively provides braking power to the latch interference member so that the latch interference member can independently rotate to the connecting shaft as much as the rotation interval in order to interfere the latch unit; and an elastic member which provides restoration power so that the latch interference member can rotate to be restored to the connecting shaft as much as the rotation interval when releasing the braking power of the latch interference member by the braking power providing unit. |
