The present invention provides an apparatus for slowly cooling hot-rolled metal which can uniformize material properties by reducing the temperature variation when the hot rolled metal is stacked in the yard. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for slowly cooling hot-rolled metal includes a box structure forming an inner space in which the hot rolled metal is contained. The box structure includes a refractory insulation layer, which reduces the variation in the cooling rate of the hot-rolled metal and slowly cools the hot-rolled metal, and includes a metal outer layer attached on an outer surface of the refractory insulation layer. |
