The present invention relates to an in-wheel motor for an electric vehicle. In particular, provided is the in-wheel motor for an electric vehicle which can be attached to and detached from a rotor support projection formed with a bundle of coils on the outer peripheral surface of a rotor support body, wherein the coils are manufactured using another manufacturing processes. According to the present invention, the in-wheel motor for an electric vehicle includes: a rotor support member in which a bundle of the coils is mounted on the outer circumferential surface or the inner circumferential surface; and a rotor in which a permanent magnet is mounted to face a bundle of the coils, wherein a bundle of the coils is attached to and detached from the projections of the rotor supports which project from the inner circumferential surface or the outer circumferential surface of the rotor supporters. |
