The present invention relates to a chip collecting conveyer capable of collecting chips produced when a machine tool, such as lathe or milling, is operated. The chip collecting conveyer extends from a lower portion of the machine tool to an inlet portion to receive the dropping chip, and transfers the chips by use of a horizontal transfer unit and a slope transfer unit to discharge the chips to a discharge port, each of the horizontal and slope transfer units having a rotating member transmitted by driving force form a drive motor, and a screw driven by a fixed end. The horizontal transfer unit is resiliently set with a transfer amount control element coming in and out from a transfer path of the chip to control the transfer amount of the chips. The fixed end of the screw of the horizontal transfer unit is provided with discharge holes to discharge cutting oil. The conveyer is stably transferred to collect the chips, and easily collects the cutting oil. |
