A method of manufacturing an array substrate for a COT(Color filter On TFT) structure in plane switching array panel is provided to prevent an active layer from being exposed to the outside of the end of source/drain electrodes, thereby preventing deterioration of an off current characteristic. A plurality of pixel electrodes(114) and a plurality of central part common electrodes(166) connected to a common line are formed. A source connection pattern(160) contacted with a data line(132) and a metal pattern is formed. A pixel connection pattern(162) is formed. The pixel connection pattern connects ends of the pixel electrodes. Source/drain electrodes(153,155) and an ohmic contact layer(128) are formed. The second passivation layer(175) covering an active layer(123) exposed between the source/drain electrodes is formed. |
