PURPOSE: Steel cord, a manufacturing method thereof, a tire using the same are provided to improve initial adhesion of the steel cord with rubber, and to stabilize rubber coverage with controlled anti-corrosive property of the steel cord. CONSTITUTION: Steel cord includes filament of which surface is coated with an adhesion promoter including hexamethoxymethylmelamine or cobalt stearyl alcholate. The adhesion promoter further includes lubricating oil. The hexamethoxymethylmelamine of 1 ~ 15 weight% is included in the adhesion promoter. The cobalt stearyl alcoholate of 15 ~ 30 weight% is included in the adhesion promoter. The steel cord include one or more filaments. The tensile strength of filament is 270 ~ 480 kg / mm^2. |
