The present invention relates to a caterpillar for a cable moving robot and a cable moving robot using the same. The caterpillar for a cable moving robot comprises: a case; a plurality of first rotating members placed inside the case and rotated by being separated from one another; second rotating members placed between the first rotating members and rotated; a belt member mounted on the first and second rotating members; and a tension regulating unit which supports the belt member from below in order to regulate the tension of the belt, and is positioned between the second and the first rotating members. Therefore, the provided caterpillar for a cable moving robot and the cable moving robot using the same can easily move without any influences of the grooves and protrusions on a cable by improving a contact area with the cable. |
