A method of generating and transmitting data in a mobile communication system is provided to allocate sync information about system sync and cell search to at least one sub sync channel, thereby reducing complexity of a sync process. One multiple carrier symbol including at least two sub sync channels is generated. The generated multiple carrier symbol is transmitted to a receiving side through the sync channel. Each OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbol is configured by at least two sub symbols. |
