An embodiment of the present invention relates to a system for detecting failure of LEDs connected in parallel. The system for detecting failure of parallel LEDs comprises: a DMX512 decoder for decoding DXM data inputted; an LED sink module for processing the parallel LEDs connected according to the DXM data decoded; a comparator for detecting a change in a forward voltage of the parallel LEDs; a switch block for inputting a non-inverting terminal input of the comparator; and an amplifier detector for determining the location of a defective LED in the parallel LEDs by receiving an output of the comparator.
