An object of the present invention is to prevent noise resistance of detection capacity from being degraded in a driving electrode provided in an input device and having a width different from that of another driving electrode. A touch panel (TP1) serving as an input device includes a plurality of driving electrodes (Tx2-Tx9) extended in an X axis and arranged in an Y axis direction crossing the X axis, and a driving electrode Tx1 provided at one outside of the arrangement of the driving electrodes (Tx2-Tx9) and extended in the X axis direction. In addition, the touch panel (TP1) has a plurality of detection electrodes (Rx) extended in the Y axis direction and arranged in the X axis direction. A width (WD2) of the driving electrode (Tx1) is narrower than a width (WD1) of the driving electrodes (Tx2-Tx9). The detection electrode (Rx) includes an expansion part (OH4), which expands the area of the detection electrode (Rx), provided in opposition to the driving electrodes (Tx2-Tx9) while interposing the driving electrode X1 between the driving electrode Rx and the driving electrodes (Tx2-Tx9). |
