<p>Provided are a content synchronization server based on motion recognition and a method thereof capable of assuring high accuracy in matching a portable terminal to receive content and a display device where the content is played. The content synchronization server according to the present invention includes: a network interface which receives first motion measurement data according to motion of a user and identification information of content being played by a display device from the display device comprising a sensor to sense the motion of the user, and receives second motion measurement data according to the motion of the user from a portable terminal of the user; a motion matching part for judging motion consistence by comparing the first motion measurement data with the second motion measurement data; and a content providing part which transmits identification information of the content to the portable terminal or requests a content server to transmit the content to the portable terminal, when the first motion measurement data is judged to be consistent with the second motion measurement data.</p> |
