The present invention relates to a metal filament with improved endurance and torsion, a metal fabric made therefrom, a combustion medium such as a media for a gas burner, a filter material, and a hot-wire material, which are made of the metal fabric. The metal filament is manufactured by passing 10 to 20 pieces of filaments (1) through a primary embossing forming gear (20) and a primary crimp gear (30) in sequence, which have a pitch of 0.2 to 0.6 mm; then plying 3 to 10 pieces of the primarily crimped filament to have a filament number of 70 to 200 and passing the filament through a secondary crimp gear (40); and passing the secondarily crimped filament through a secondary embossing forming gear (50) having a pitch of 0.2 to 60 mm. |
