The ship has an on-board stowage arrangement (1) for supporting containers, and cargo bays (6, 6.1, 6.2) formed in a hull (2) along a longitudinal direction of the ship and provided with transverse boundaries (8). Longitudinal flap bridges extend in the longitudinal direction of the ship and provided in a region above lateral passages of the ship. A head side of transverse flap bridges (9, 13, 14) comprises receiving areas (15-18) that are provided for bottom-sided retaining of the containers. The receiving areas exhibit larger dimensions than the cargo bays. |
