<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video game which combines finger swiping to hurl a projectile at a target, with strategic elements arising from various combinations of player and target characteristics.SOLUTION: A user action having a direction of finger swipe with respect to a touchscreen, a speed of finger swipe with respect to the touchscreen, and/or a length of finger swipe with respect to the touchscreen determines the trajectory and/or force of the projectile. A player dynamically selects specific roles from a plurality of available cards in a deck, with the specific role of determining game parameters such as offensive effectiveness and defensive power. The game incorporates one or more strategic concepts such as ability to combine roles, the evolution of roles with time, and the selective enlistment of cooperators.</p> |
