PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classification apparatus for silicon crushed pieces capable of smoothly classifying the silicon crushed pieces, while preventing generation of a fine piece, and to provide a method of producing classified silicon crushed pieces. ! SOLUTION: A chute 3 of a classification apparatus 1 for the silicon crushed pieces is inclined on a down grade with respect to a conveyor 2, and the lower end edge 3a of the chute 3 is provided at a slant in a direction crossing with the width direction of an endless belt 4, a second storage part 22 is provided under the conveyor 2 so as to receive the silicon crushed piece of falling from the chute 2, and a flap plate 31 supported upward so as to freely rock, is provided along the width direction in a tip part of the chute 3. !
