A method for predicting faults in an aircraft thrust reverser system having at least one thrust reverser having at least one actuator for moving the thrust reverser between a deployed position and a retracted position, and a position sensor for outputting a position signal providing position data indicative of the position of the thrust reverser, the method comprising:
receiving a position signal from the position sensor; determining a variation in the position signal relative to a reference position; predicting a fault in the thrust reverser system based on the variation; and providing an indication of the predicted fault. |
