<p>A driving method for a liquid crystal display and a liquid crystal display control circuit using the method. The method comprises: step 1, providing a liquid crystal display (20), which comprises a liquid crystal display panel (24) and a liquid crystal display control circuit (22), wherein the liquid crystal display control circuit (22) comprises: a display control unit (32), a timing controller (34) and an MCU interface module (38), with the timing controller (34) being integrated therein with an electrically programmable read-only memory (342); step 2, performing backlight scanning, the timing controller (34) reading an EEPROM parameter from the built-in electrically programmable read-only memory (342), thereby generating a reference timing sequence for controlling the display control unit (32), and the display control unit (32) generating a field synchronization VSYNC signal; and step 3, the liquid crystal display control circuit (22) driving the display panel (24) to display an image. The control circuit can simplify the circuit design, the product has a high circuit integration level, and the production cost is reduced.</p> |
