PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic device for appropriately setting the thickness of an acoustic matching layer.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic device comprises: an ultrasonic element array substrate 20 having a piezoelectric body and a plurality of ultrasonic elements at least either for receiving or transmitting the supersonic wave; a fixed frame 70 having a recess part 71 where the ultrasonic element array substrate 20 is fixed and a through part 72 where a part of a plane surface of a bottom part of the recess part 71 is opened and a through hole is formed, and in which an element formation surface of the ultrasonic element array substrate 20 is fixed toward the through part 72 in the recess part 71; an acoustic lens 50 having a lens part 51 covering the through part 72 of the fixed frame 70 and attached to the fixed frame 70 for converging the supersonic wave; and an acoustic matching layer 40 arranged between the ultrasonic element array substrate 20 and the acoustic lens 50, and formed of a resin that sticks the ultrasonic element array substrate 20 to the acoustic lens 50. The acoustic lens 50 comes into contact with the fixed frame 70, and thereby the thickness of the acoustic matching layer 40 is kept constant. |
