PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve texture of a sheet of a printed matter to reproduce the texture of the sheet in display of a preview function in three-dimensional display.SOLUTION: Mixture ratio data 202 is created so that a mixture ratio of regular reflection characteristic data of a sheet to diffuse reflection characteristic data of the sheet becomes different according to a coordinate position, and is arranged at a position of Z=1.0. An image processing apparatus determines a position 206 at which a reflection vector refers to the mixture ratio data, the reflection vector being reflection of a sight line vector reflected on a document data position 204 to which the sight line vector has paid attention from a viewpoint position, mixes the diffuse reflection characteristic data of the sheet and the regular reflection characteristic data of the sheet by using the mixture ratio R of the reference position 206, and calculates a data value for preview at the document data position 204. |
