PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of an image defect caused by the action of an external force in electronic equipment in which a display panel is fixed to a casing.SOLUTION: In electronic equipment, a transparent holding plate 5 is fixed to the surface of a display panel 7. The transparent holding plate 5 is configured such that an outer peripheral edge part 51 is overlapped with a frame part 30 of the casing. A holder member is installed at the back side of the display panel 7. The holder member includes: three side plate parts 91, 91 and 92 covering at least three side faces of the display panel 7. The outer peripheral edge part 51 of the transparent holding plate 5 is pressurized by the tip surface of each side plate part of the holder member such that the outer peripheral part 51 is fixed to a frame part 30 of a casing 1. |
