PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing a trouble caused by a dummy pattern peeled from a flexible printed wiring board base by backing resist removal by dissolving.SOLUTION: A peeling device 1 peels an etching resist and a backing resist from a flexible printed wiring board base including a flying lead and a dummy pattern 55. The peeling device 1 comprises: a stripping liquid tank 4 filled with a stripping liquid 10; a first transfer mechanism which transfers the flexible printed wiring board base; and a second transfer mechanism arranged below a transfer route of the flexible printed wiring board base and including an endless annular conveyor belt 6 which receives the dummy pattern 55 peeled from the flexible printed wiring board base and transfers the dummy pattern 55 to the outside of the stripping liquid tank.
