<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable generating a start message at appropriate timing in a vehicle V which has a brake force retaining function of retaining brake force even when a brake impartment operation is released by a driver.SOLUTION: A start message controller 7 for vehicles comprises a speaker 251 which generates a start message for informing the vehicle V's surrounding of behavior related to a start of the vehicle V, a control portion 233 which allows imparting a brake force to the vehicle V according to a brake impartment operation by a driver and makes the brake force of the vehicle V retained even when a brake impartment operation is released and a brake force retention flag setting portion 231 which sets on and off of a brake force retention flag for retaining brake force of the vehicle V even when the brake impartment operation is released. The control portion 233 causes the speaker 251 to generate a start message when both the brake impartment operation and the on setting of the brake force retention flag are released.</p> |
