摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for forming a torsion beam for a vehicle and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for forming a torsion beam for a vehicle using a hot cam core type using a hot cam core type capable of improving the productivity by reducing the working time necessary for forming a torsion beam and by improving the durability of the torsion beam. According to the present invention, the apparatus for forming a torsion beam for a vehicle comprises: an upper mold (3) including upper base steel (2) with a punch block (1); a lower mold (7) including a lift (6) having a forming mounting groove (5) moving up and down ins a lower base steel (4) since the upper mold (3) is moving down; a cam slide (9) moving forward by a cam drive (8) when the upper mold (3) is moving down; and a cam core (10) integrally formed in the cam slide (9) to form both leading ends of a cylindrical pipe (100) which is a pre-forming material of a torsion beam (101) placed on a forming mounting groove (5) of the lower mold (7). The cam core (10) integrally installed in the cam slide (9) is installed at an incline downwards based on the forward direction of the cam slide (9), the cam core (10) has a fixed inclination angle (θ) at an incline forward based on a virtual vertical line (V) of the cam slide (9), and the inclination angle (θ) is set within the range of 0.5- 3°.
