摘要 <p>The invention relates to devices for the combustion of gaseous or atomized liquid fuel during pulse detonation and can be used in technological devices and energy installations having a high heat rate. Proposed is a high-speed pulse detonation gas burner and a method of functioning thereof. The burner comprises a housing provided with a set of cooled obstacles, and a mixing and ignition device. The set of obstacles is comprised of obstacles having different tube cross-section blocking coefficients and different shapes which change in accordance with the distance from an ignition source in such a way as to provide an optimal balance between the turbulent front acceleration rate and the amplification rate of the formed shock wave in order to effect the transition from combustion to detonation. The proposed invention, by using a cyclic detonation mode for the combustion of a fuel mixture, provides for maximal thermodynamic efficiency of the burner by means of the complete combustion of the mixture in the detonation wave and by means of creating, at the outlet of the burner, a high-speed jet of high-temperature detonation products.</p>
