In a method for halting a communication network handover of a mobile communication terminal connectable to a first communication network and a second communication network, differing from one another, and connecting preferentially to the first communication network, the mobile communication terminal is handed over from the first communication network to the second communication network based on a communication network handover instruction signal received from a mobile communication network. The mobile communication terminal detects a number of reception times of the communication network handover instruction signal, and halts the handover to the first communication network when the detected number of reception times exceeds a threshold. |
