PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint fastener capable of reducing an operation load required for attaching/detaching the joint fastener to/from a connection part of connection pipes and retaining a strong connection state of the connection pipes being connected with each other.SOLUTION: A joint fastener 1 is configured to fix connection pipes which are connected with each other, in the state of connecting both the connection pipes by supporting outside surfaces of flange parts individually formed in the outer peripheries of the connection pipes together. The joint fastener 1 comprises a top part 10 and a pair of support parts 20 extending from both side portions of the top part 10 and opposing each other. Both the support parts 20 are recess-shaped from outer walls 30 covering outer peripheral surfaces of both the abutted flange parts and sidewalls 40 disposed to hold the outer side surfaces of the flange parts in both the connection pipes therebetween while extending from both the side ends of the outer walls 30 to the inside of both the support parts 20. The sidewalls 40 of both the support parts 20 include annular portions 42 of which the distal end sides extend to positions exceeding axial centers of connection parts along outer peripheral surfaces of the connection parts of both the connection pipes. |
