PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device which can suppress occurrence of the moment during the secondary collision.SOLUTION: A steering column device comprises a pair of suspension bolts 25 (suspension shafts) which suspends an upper jacket 16 through a tilt bracket 24 so that a first plate 30 of a fixed bracket 23 is connected with a second plate 32 of the tilt bracket 24 (movable bracket). A connecting/disconnecting mechanism R1 disconnects the second plate 32 from the prescribed position of the first plate 30 in a column movement direction (X1 direction perpendicular to Y1 direction) during the secondary collision. The connecting/disconnecting mechanism comprises a resin pin 61 arranged only between a pair of first holes 31 that are long holes in the first plate 30 through which the pair of suspension bolts 25 are inserted in the Y1 direction perpendicular to the column movement direction. |
