PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a reading rate of reading target articles.SOLUTION: In a POS (Point Of Sale) terminal device 10, an image acquisition unit 11 acquires an image of an article, and when an image determination unit 12 determines that an article identifier is not included in the image acquired by the image acquisition unit 11, a reading processing completion determination unit 13 determines that reading processing of identification information of the article is completed, according to an amount of image variation of the image from a predetermined image. Thus, as the POS terminal device 10 determines completion of reading processing of the article according to the amount of image variation, it is possible to inhibit reading error and erroneously generated price reduction, respectively, and enhance a reading rate of reading target articles. |
