PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite member having a core material and a linear surface member in which adhesive strength between the core material and the linear surface member is high, and when used as a sliding composite member, the composite member being capable of exhibiting excellent slidability.SOLUTION: The composite member includes a core material around which a linear surface member is wound and fused. The core material contains an electroconductive material. The linear surface member has a cross-sectional shape, in which a distance (D1) from the center of gravity to a first point of an outline is different from a distance (D2) from the center of gravity to a second point of the outline before fusion. |
