PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in determining whether blocks in an input image are color blocks or monochrome blocks, and determining a printing fee of the image input on the basis of the amount of color blocks, if a user is not satisfied with the determined printing fee, the user has to abandon the printing.SOLUTION: In changing a printing fee, if the printing fee is changed to a printing fee for the amount of colors that is smaller than the amount of colors in an input image, an image processing apparatus automatically performs image processing to increase the amount of colors to the maximum possible within the printing fee, and prints a result of the image processing. |
