PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosswalk illuminating device capable of easily installing: a sensor which detects a pedestrian on a crosswalk; and an illuminating lamp which lights on the basis of detection of the sensor and illuminates the crosswalk.SOLUTION: A crosswalk illuminating device comprises: an illuminating lamp 2 which illuminates a crosswalk; a sensor 3 which detects a pedestrian; and a control section 13 which allows the illuminating lamp 2 to light when the sensor 3 detects the pedestrian. The control section 13 is installed in a box-shaped main body section 11. The illuminating lamp 2 and the sensor 3 are fixed to an external surface of the main body section 11. By installing the main body section 12 close to the crosswalk, the sensor 3 can be arranged at a position allowing the same to detect presence or absence of the pedestrian who crosses the crosswalk and the illuminating lamp 2 can be arranged at the position allowing the same to illuminate the crosswalk.
