PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a large tilt of a body of a vehicle, in which a signal processing device calculates the remaining amount of fuel in a fuel tank based upon a detection value of float position detection means of detecting the position of a float energized by a sprint to move toward a bottom wall of the fuel tank, by eliminating the need for a dedicated component such as a tilt sensor and improving existing functions that the vehicle has.SOLUTION: A first area A1 as an area where fuel is usable and a second area A2 defined on the side of a bottom wall 18b of the fuel tank 18 with respect to the first area A1 are set in the fuel tank 18, and a signal processing device calculates the amount of fuel according to the position of a float 31 in a state in which float position detection means 33 detects at least a part of the float 31 being present in the first area A1, and determines that the vehicle body is in a tilted state based upon detection on the float 31 entirely in the second area A2 by the float position detection means 33. |
