PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack device using a lithium ion battery, capable of simply replacing a lead accumulator battery mounted on middle-sized and large-sized electrically-powered equipment.SOLUTION: A battery pack device uses a lithium ion battery having a lower limit SOC corresponding to a discharge termination voltage, the lower limit SOC being equivalent to that of a lead accumulator battery. A cell module in which a plurality of series-connected lithium ion batteries are housed in a battery case is configured. A plurality of the cell modules are connected in series, and the plurality of series-connected cell modules are unified by a holding member to configure a sub battery pack module having a desired output voltage. The plurality of sub battery pack modules are connected in parallel so as to get a desired capacity and to configure a battery pack module. The battery pack module is housed in one device case. |
