PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus having a skip function with terminated scans in helical shuttle scan taken into consideration, and also to provide a program of the X-ray CT apparatus.SOLUTION: Storage means of an X-ray CT apparatus stores projection plan information which defines at least the number of times helical shuttle scan is executed to collect projection data and the timing at which each helical scan is executed. Cradle bed control means controls cradle driving means and bed driving means. Upon receipt of an input skip direction that directs shift to the next helical shuttle scan to be made earlier than the timing defined in the projection plan information, control means controls the cradle bed control means to terminate the currently being executed helical shuttle scan including unit scans to be executed at the ends of the reciprocating range of the top board, and to shift to the next helical shuttle scan.
