<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a plurality of sessions to perform communication consistent with their effective bandwidth.SOLUTION: A repeater 10 comprises: a packet control monitoring unit 103 for monitoring a call control message; a communication management information storage unit 105 for storing information to construct a session; an effective bandwidth measuring unit 104 for measuring an effective bandwidth between the repeater and a terminal; a periodic monitoring timer unit 108 that becomes one trigger for bandwidth measuring; a bandwidth determination unit 106 for determining the bandwidth for a session on the basis of a communication management table and information obtained from the effective bandwidth measuring result; and a packet generating unit 107 for generating a packet on the basis of a value determined by the bandwidth determination unit 106. The repeater establishes a session consistent with the bandwidth of a network on the basis of the information obtained by the call control message and the effective bandwidth obtained by the bandwidth measurement of the network.</p> |
