<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of double feed detection of a sheet by considering an event that has a possibility of occurring to the sheet after the sheet passes through a resist roller.SOLUTION: In a front end side area of a printing sheet P in which a light transmission type sensor 160 provided at a sheet feeding side from a resist roller 161 detects the printing sheet P having a sag due to a skew correction, determination of a double feed is performed by detecting the printing sheet P with a light transmission type sensor 170 provided at a printing head 312 side from the resist roller 161. In a rear end side area of the printing sheet P in which the light transmission type sensor 170 provided at the printing head 312 side from the resist roller 161 detects the printing sheet P having a positional variation due to a transient period of suction start to a conveying belt 352, the determination of the double feed is performed by detecting the printing sheet P with the light transmission type sensor 160 provided at the sheet feeding side from the resist roller 161.</p> |
