A single-point clamp of a four-wheel aligner for an automobile, which is connected to a fixed hub locking nut on a wheel, and a using method thereof. The clamp comprises a locking sleeve (1), a single-point changeable hexagonal holding jaw (2), a locking nut (3), a connecting plate (4), and a target plate (5) with magnets, wherein the single-point changeable hexagonal holding jaw (2) is arranged at one end of the locking sleeve (1), and the locking nut (3) is arranged at the other end of the locking sleeve (1); the single-point changeable hexagonal holding jaw (2) tightly clamps a fixed hub locking nut (7) on a hub; and the locking sleeve (1) is connected to one end of the connecting plate (4), and the target plate (5) with magnets is in screwed-in connection with another end of the connecting plate (4). The using method of the single-point clamp comprises: (1) loosening the locking nut (3) on the clamp; (2) inserting the single-point changeable hexagonal holding jaw (2) into the fixed hub locking nut (7) on the hub; and (3) tightening the locking nut (3) on the clamp and tightly clamping the fixed hub locking nut (7). The clamp has a simple structure, is convenient to install, has a low cost, and saves resources. |
