The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing location information by using a terminal number. The present invention provides a system including: a voice guide unit for transmitting a message related to a navigation service to a user terminal accessing the system in the form of a voice; a reception data processing unit for identifying received data if voice data or video data including a text transmitted from a user terminal are received so that the received data can be used when the navigation service is provided; and a location search unit for extracting location information matching with a wired terminal number from a database if a destination number received through the reception data processing unit is the wired terminal number, and for detecting the location of a corresponding wireless terminal through a mobile communications network to transmit the location information to a corresponding user terminal through a voice guide unit if the destination number is a wireless terminal number. Since a destination can be set by using a terminal number, the inconvenience of a user selecting a destination on a map displayed on the terminal or individually inputting an address corresponding to the destination can be reduced. |
