PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device in which the number of components and assembly man-hours of a mechanism for moving a chassis can be reduced. ! SOLUTION: A disk device 100 includes: a disk tray 1 on which a disk is to be placed; a chassis 2 which has a turntable 5 for rotating the disk, attached thereto and is arranged on the side opposite to the side of placement of the disk of the disk tray 1 and is made of sheet metal; and a cam member 3 including a cam groove 31 for moving the chassis 2 toward and away from the disk tray 1. The chassis 2 integrally includes a projection 21 made of sheet metal, which projects from the chassis 2 toward the cam member 3 so as to be fitted to the cam groove 31. The projection 21 of the chassis 2 is moved along the cam groove 31 in accordance with movement of the cam member 3, whereby the chassis 2 is moved toward and away from the disk tray 1. !
