The invention relates to a valve for metering fluid, having a flow channel (35), which leads from a fluid inlet (13) to a metering opening (17), for the fluid and having a filter device (40), which is arranged in the flow channel (35) and through which the fluid flows. The filter device (40) has a coarse filter (41) and a fine filter (42), which is arranged downstream of the coarse filter (41) in the flow direction of the fluid, in order to increase the robustness of the filter device (40) against damage from larger particles substantially resulting from manufacturing and assembly processes of the fluid system in which the valve is used.
