<p>Provided is a glass composition comprising, by mol%, 56-66% SiO2, 6-12% Al2O3, 5-14% MgO, 0-1% CaO, 17-24% Na2O, and 0-3% K2O, wherein Li2O+Na2O+K2O is within the range of 18.5-24%. This glass composition is suitable for production by the float process, and for introducing, by chemical strengthening, a large crack-resistance load, a large surface compressive stress, and a thick compressive stress layer.</p> |
